Apple Store – SoHo FREE performance October 23rd

We are going to play at the Apple Store in SoHo on October 23rd at 7PM. This will be right before our performance at The Bowery Ballroom.

We are going to play an acoustic-like performance. It will be a lot like the performance we did on KCRW but we will be playing more songs and maybe a bit more instruments, we are not totally sure what we will do yet. Should be fun since we rarely get to play stripped down performances like this in front of an audience. Last time was at Bonnaroo, I think this one will be much better. This set will be recorded and probably released on iTunes not long after.

Word is that the Bowery might be freeing up tickets for sale the night of the show. It is listed as sold-out but that is partially because they have to hold back tickets for the CMJ badge holders

dude, gangsta roy, chill. practically every post they write you ask for a damn san antonio show. they have heard you, they recognize a texas date is not on this tour. there is nothing they can do about it, they have tweeted several times that texas will be on the next date, so be patient and stop asking for impossible requests.

Great great Great set… you played amazing classics! Hearing censored colors tracks was a transcendent experience. The new tracks warmed my heart…. Keep up the wonderfulness.

Amazing performance guys, the violinist was awesome, not to mention incredibly cute. John, thanks for calling my friend and the autograph, she still doesnt believe it was you, but i think its more denial than disbelief. I also want to thank everyone else in the band. I felt like a dick only talking to John, but I was a little overwhelmed and trying to do everything on the fly, and when i considerd going back I thought it might seem a little stalkerish. I should have thanked you all, considering you were all dead on point the entire show, so I’ll leave my immense gratitude here. Keep making great music, you’ll always have at least one fan in me.
